Veronika worked for years in the media field as director of IAB Slovakia, marketing manager at Piano Media and at the magazine .týžden. She was active in TEDxBratislava and Startup Weekend Bratislava, MONO.sk. She joined Aj Ty v IT in 2018 as a project manager for the target group of adult women. In 2022, she became COO at Aj Ty v IT. Gender equality is a theme she lives by in her professional and private life.

Lenka graduated in law at the Faculty of Law of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. After her studies she worked in Košice as an articled clerk, lawyer and later as an attorney. A few years ago she started thinking about changing her career to the IT world by studying at a university with a focus on IT. However, as a graduated lawyer, she did not meet all the admission requirements and also university studies were not compatible with the legal profession. And then one inspiring article about organization Aj Ty v IT showed a real way for a career change. Through organization Aj Ty v IT she managed to complete the Women SQL Academy and Women Tester Academy in the spring of 2021 and later the Automated testing course. Thanks to the acquired knowledge and skills, she received job offers and in autumn 2021 she accepted an offer from the company BOOTIQ SK s.r.o., part of BiQ Group, based in Bratislava, where she works as a tester and gains new experiences and skills.
